Rigmarine's workshops are equipped with tensile test machinery up to 500t capacity and compressive test frames up to 100t capacity.

Our equipment enables us to test and certify a full range of fabricated lifting and mooring equipment as well as rig handling and drilling equipment.

Non-standard load tests are also engineering using a range of hydraulic cylinders capable of delivering proof load forces of over 2000t.

To assist in our on-site operations we have a full range of steel weight and waterbags, supplied complete with calibrated load measuring equipment.

All Rigmarine site engineers are qualified in NDT practices including MPI, DP & UT.

Rigmarine's office staff and engineers and dedicated to ensuring the strict control of all documentation and adherence to the correct applicable standards at all times when testing, recording and issuing certification.

Rigmarine's Engineers have had many years of comprehensive experience at Load Testing and Certification on all types of installations and sites of including:

• New Built Topside Commissioning - including complete testing of all lifting equipment including: Cranes, Winches & Lifeboad Davits.
• Semi-submearsable drilling units - Drilling and Derrick equipment, Mooring Systems & SI2307 inspections.
• Dive Support Vessels - LARS and Bell Systems.
• Pipe Lay Vessels - Stinger and Davit equipment.
• Offshore Support - CCU's transiting offshore in accordance with BS EN 12079.
• Construction Sites - Loose lifting equipment, and Cranes in accordance with BS 7121 & ASME B30.
• Fabrication Plants - Proto-type and production testing of offsore units to BS EN 12079.
• Spreader Beams and various fabricated items.
• Client compliance to International Statutory Legislation i.e. LOLER/PUWER.
